Etude House CC cream [Glow and Silky]

I was able to purchase Etude House CC cream in "Glow" a while back, along with receiving a free sample of it in "Silky." It's only now that I had the time to create an first impressions and comparison review on both products.

Product Claims of Both: 8-in-1 multifunction application cream formulated with Rock Rose extract supplies polyhenoles for powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory care and with Natural Tone corrective care coverage and skin protection.

The 8-in-1 multifunctions:

  1. Anti-aging
  2. Stress Relief
  3. Hydration
  4. Whitening
  5. Sun Protection
  6. Tone Up
  7. Smooth Texture
  8. Luminosity

WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES:

Anti-aging?  Not noticeable. The ageing prevention factor may come from the sun protection since UVA and UVB rays from the sun can cause premature ageing.

Stress Relief? Not noticeable

Hydration? Not really that hydrating on the skin

Whitening? It has a brightening and whitening effect when you put it on but when you wash it off I  don't really see any lasting effects.

Sun Protection? Yes! It has an SPF 30 PA++

(SPF 30 means it can protect you from UVB rays for around 5 hours for light to fair skin and PA++ means that skin is protected from UVA rays at medium protection)

Tone Up? I don't really know what these means... :P

Smooth Texture? It does give a smooth finish after blending it into the skin

Luminosity? YES! Very!

COMPARISON of GLOW and SILKY:

WOULD I REPURCHASE?

HELL NO!!

I think the product is very gimmicky. It offers practically no coverage and gives out that ghostly white effect on the face. I would only recommend this product for girls who have very fair and dull skin with VERY minimal facial skin flaws (like slight redness under the nose).
